Phuket is like every traveler's dream and is located 845 kilometers away from the capital. Tourists all over the world fly over Thailand just to enjoy a proper beach vacation in Phuket. Phuket is a tropical island and the best time to visit Phuket is from mid-November to April. During this time there are slight chances of rain and the sea stays its calmest. January and February are the peak months.

You can enjoy the blue water and beautiful view when the weather is perfect. The most suitable option to stay in Phuket are the coastal areas like Kata, Karon, and Patong. Band Thao and Kamala are also popular. Old Town is the best place to stay if you want to know and explore more about Phuket's history and culture. The old town has the most interesting seafood on the island. While Kata and Patong offer the best beaches. Patong has a large number of shops, restaurants, and bars and is very crowded usually. Bangla Road is the center of Phuket's nightlife. If you love to do parties this is the right place for you. The vibrant nightlife will enchant you but be aware of frauds and bars that offer lucrative deals. Patong beach is perfect to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets with a few sundowners.

Kata can offer you the best balance between beach quality, restaurants, activities, and nightlife. It doesn't get as busy nor as crowded as Patong. The beach is very clean and pretty. The Big Buddha is 10 kilometers away from kata and one of the most visited attractions. This magnificent statue is 45 meters tall and the third-tallest statue in Thailand. Wat Chalong is Phuket's largest temple complex and features a 60-meter-tall stupa and is very close to the Lord Buddha. Karon has better resorts than Kata. The ones that are higher up on the cliff are amazing also, it has a more developed downtown area. Karon Viewpoint is great and you can get mesmerizing views of Kata Noi, Kata Yai, and Karon beaches. Surin is also a very well-known area between Kamala and Bang Thao.

It has one of the greatest and most exclusive stretches of beach on the entire island. If you are a sucker for a quieter and more luxurious stay in Phuket, then this is the perfect place for you to be in. Phang Nga Bay is a 400 square km bay between Phuket and the southern Thai mainland. The limestone karsts that jut vertically out of the emerald green water are eye-soothing. Koh Ta Pu or James Bond Island is infamous because the 1974 James Bond film featured this small island and it became a worldwide phenomenon.
