Karamjal

Karamjal is located on the banks of the river Pashur, about eight kilometers from Mongla. There are many species of animals including crocodiles, deer, monkeys. It is the only natural crocodile breeding ground in the country with wooden trails and towers. There are deer breeding centers and observation towers. Here you will see baby crocodiles and countless monkeys. Red crabs will run on the ground. The waves of the river will come and the bank will break on the mangrove roots. Interestingly, there are three ponds here for freshwater.


Katka

Sundarbans East Katak Sanctuary is located on the west side of the Katka Sanctuary. Here you can enjoy the natural environment from the restroom built in the shade of the dense forest, the waves of the rough sea. In the afternoon, when the sun shines, the deer move closer. There is no group of monkeys night and day! Maybe you can see the crocodile sunbathing on the river bank. Although Katka falls within the range of the Tiger's roaming area, the number of tigers has decreased so much that seeing tigers is only a matter of luck. There is an observation tower to see the forest and a 4-bed rest house to stay. About 112 km from Cuttack to Mongla. It takes about 8 to 10 hours. Jamtala Jamtala is near Katkar. It is located on the bank of a small canal across the Katka canal. A wildlife watchtower has been built here to attract tourists. A herd of deer can be seen from the tower. Sometimes the fear of the tiger or any other reason is lost in the deep forest at the moment of the foundation. The Jamtala canal is about 1 km long so it can be enjoyed in small boats. But there is also the fear of crocodiles. Kachikhali is a beautiful resting place with rows of palm trees and coconut orchards along the seashore at the eastern southern end of the Sundarbans East Sanctuary. It has 3 single bedrooms and 1 2 bedrooms and a drawing and dining room. Tourists come here hoping to see tigers. But nowadays the tiger fair is so close to the locality. The distance of Kachikhali from Mongla to Kachikhali is 108 km. The seasonal fish market is held in Kachikhali from October to March.


Badamtala

Badamtala between Kachikhali and Katkar. Badamtala beach is very secluded and can be said to be a bit scary. There is a possibility of seeing tigers on this beach in winter, at least tiger footprints can be seen. Another thing is that it is possible to walk from Jamtala or Kachikhali, in which case there is a risk, but one can be careful by following the rules. In the winter season, local forest dwellers come here to collect seaweed. Tinkona Island Tinkona Island has become a new sight for tourists in the Sundarbans. Deer monkeys can be seen at this place located at the confluence of the river of animals and dead animals. Many also come here to see tigers. There is a forest department patrol outpost at Kokilmoni near Tinkona Island. Dublar Char travelers sometimes stop here. Dublar Char is located on the shores of the sea covered with snow-white cashew flowers and green grass. Fishermen stay here for six months of the year and go fishing in the sea in small boats at the risk of their lives. The cultural events held during the leisure time of the fishermen in this fishing village are very enjoyable. Tourists take a closer look at the dry processing here. You can see the life of the prisoner from very close. This place is famous for Rasmeela. Dublar Char is 90 km away from Mongla. There are 4 cyclone centers and many freshwater ponds due to human settlement. Hilsa is available from Dublar Char in the rainy season. Thousands of pilgrims from far and wide come to the Rash Purnima fair in the month of Kartik. The Ras Mela lasts for 3 days.


Mandarbaria

Mandarbaria is one of the most important and pleasant places to visit within the Sundarbans and this place is known for seeing tigers. In the western part of the Sundarbans, near the shores of the Bay of Bengal, the rising and setting of the sun is a special attraction for tourists. Patni Island is close to Mandarbaria, and from a distance, it looks as if a piece of green rock is floating in the Bay of Bengal. There are tigers, deer, monkeys, turtles, snakes, crabs, crocodiles, and birds. And the wild, silent, beautiful beach can be a chance to see the turtle sunbathing in the winter. Nirakamal Sanctuary is located in the southern forest of the river near Hiran Point or Nilakamal Sagar beach. There is the official house of the sanctuary center decorated with blue color, the residence of the forest workers, the picnic spot. The place is named Nilkamal after the Nilkamal canal. Deer are seen here in the morning. They come here to drink water from the pond. There is also a tower here. Crocodiles can be seen in the river here at any time. The distance from Khulna to Hiran Point is about 120 km.

Shekhertek

Here is a temple about 400 years old, the ruins of Shekherbari and traces of houses are found in some high places. The Shekhertek temple is located in the forest on the banks of the river Shibsa and is made of small bricks, lime, and suraki. There are many stories about it.


Harbaria

It has become an excellent tourist spot to see the Sundarbans and come back day by day. It takes 2 to 3 hours to go from Mongla to Harbaria by a trawler. At the confluence of the Pashur river and Harbaria canal, some facilities have been set up near Harbaria patrol outpost to attract tourists.

Bangabandhu

Island Bangabandhu Island is the last point of the Sundarbans before Putney Island. The wide beaches of the secluded island will fill your mind. There are few Kashaban trees here. There are deer. The tigers have not gone there yet. It has the potential to become an attractive tourist destination in the future. Because Putni Island and Bangabandhu Island have wide and clean dunes. A fisherman named the island Bangabandhu Island.

Khalpetua

Deer and monkeys can be seen along the banks of the Sundarbans and the Kholpetua river. The Kholpetua River provides daily livelihood to the people of this region. The local people fish in this river almost all year-round. Crabs are found in this river throughout the year. Besides, Ramsar, Munshiganj, Kapilmoni, Tear Char, Shelar Char, Dhangmari, Jongra, Dead Pashur, Ghagramari, Laudob, Gyanpara, Chandpai, Nandabala, Charaputia, Mrigamari, Jiudhara, Baraitala, Amurbunia, Shuvarag Have gone.
