Each season has got its beautiful aspects characteristics which are very unique from each other. One of the worth mentioning and much like the season of Bangladesh by the people in the winter season. The winter life of the village area is kind of different from the urban life. The winter season in Bangladesh starts from the month of November and stays up to February. Dense fog is observed In The villages of Bangladesh, the cold air flows during this time. The temperature lowers to a great extent and it ranges from 3 to 4 degrees Celsius.

The average temperature of the different areas remains 10 to 20 degrees Celsius. It is seen that the village area encounters a lower temperature than the urban area due to the less pollution and emission. In the morning the weather remains misty, water droplets can be seen on the tender grass and leaves. It becomes very hard to see around due to the presence of a huge amount of fog. The sun is hardly seen and the people also wake up late in the village area. The working-class people are seen to be going to work wearing winter clothes but it is also not easy to fight against this cold of the village. It is a common scene in villages of Bangladesh that the people collect the date juice fresh from the trees.


This is one of the most important times to make the winter Pitha. During the wintertime, many people from the city visit their villages, and the odds to make the peter is seen during this time due to the presence of leisure time. The feeling of eating hot and freshly made Bhapa Pitha is just incomparable to any other thing. Other types of Pitha are also made which are very much delicious to eat. During this season the people of the village seem to be in a lazy and comfy state. Many people enjoy this season compared to the other seasons that prevail in Bangladesh.

It is also seen that different types of cultural program and the village fair is also arranged with the amazement of winter season. But the people who are not privileged and have a shortage of winter clothes have to suffer a lot during this time. But the lower-earning people become the victim of the suffering in the winter season. So we can see the both sweet and harsh side of the winter season In the villages of Bangladesh.
