Nuseir Yassin is an Israeli-Palestinian Harvard graduate, more widely known as Nas Daily. Nas means people in Arabic. Due to the limitation of education in Israel, he set his mind up to study in an Ivy League college in the USA. He applied to Harvard to do this major in aerospace engineering, luckily he got accepted and was offered a scholarship as well. Nuseir graduated with a degree in economics, after which he moved to New York and began coding at PayPal which is a money transfer app, Venmo, where his salary was above $100,000 per year.

He had everything a person could dream of, education from a prestigious university, career at a top company part of Fortune 500, and a steady income. Despite it all, he was exhausted by the daily monotonous routine and felt like he was missing out on life. He also felt like his job was overpaid and it wasn’t satisfying enough. As a result, he spent about a year and a half to save up and in 2016 he resigned from his job, purchased a camera, a plane ticket and decided to travel the world full time by himself and committed to making a video every day for 1000 days with a duration of just 1 minute.He started his from –New York to Kenya He has visited around 74 countries, including destinations where not many tourists visit like Rwanda, Tanzania, in order for his viewers to get a more extensive look of the world. He started uploading his 1-minute video on Facebook rather than YouTube because he felt that the power of Facebook as a community is much greater than YouTube. Through Facebook, he can reach viewers to a personal level, via messaging and Facebook lives he can reach a broader range of viewers. Nas succeeded being a vlogger by setting himself apart by formatting his videos to be 1 minute which is a unique approach not taken by many other vloggers and his ethnicity makes him different and relatable to a lot of other brown people around the world.
Nas has also started his business of selling t-shirts with the percentage of how much one’s life is over. He also earns a certain amount from the Facebook ads put into his videos. He started his own business with the thought that if he dies today, or tomorrow, his project will also die with him. As a result, his business that has employees will move forward with his daily grind. The Nas Daily Headquarter is in Singapore with 24 employees and their main aim is to create inspiring content. Some of their affiliated clients are Uber, Agoda, Facebook, Turkish Airlines, NICE. Nas says he is privileged to have started his journey with a substantial nest egg that allowed him to travel without worry. He has tried to overcome his insecurities and low self-esteem in order to be where he is now. Nas can proudly say that a village boy has made it to the top of the world.
