The Genesis Art Gallery in Kolkata was established in 1985. Which has become quite well known over the last two decades. Since its inception, this art gallery has been helping to showcase various historical paintings of India. The paintings of all the old artists are also housed in this gallery. Suhash Roy, Ghost Kumar, Robin Mandal, Surchi Chand RameshwarBrata, and many other old artists have found work in this gallery. Genesis Art Gallery has always been instrumental in keeping artists alive, promoting their work and creating new artists. The artifacts collected there aroused interest in painting among the common people. Genesis Art Gallery is always working to overcome various obstacles in painting and to showcase the work of painters all over the world in the days ahead.

Through various group shows and camps, Genesis Gallery invites talented artists from India and South Asia.Navjat, BhasundharaTaiwari, Jatin Das, Jagdish Chandra and many more talented artists are in the spotlight. A number of eminent and enlightened persons visited the gallery and eminent citizens including His Excellency Biren J. Shah, Lady Ranu Mukherjee, SeljaKumari, Beth Payne, Consul General of Russia, RakhiSarkar, Amla Shankar, Sarala Birla and many others. The gallery's activities are not limited to four walls, it also participates in various art summits. Besides participating in various fairs, it also conducts auction activities. The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore, along with the Genesis Hobart Foundation, has also hosted a number of exhibitions at the Los Angeles Art Campus on an international platform. Genesis Art Gallery is currently undergoing a new look. Gallery curator IshaModiPatodia is giving all the directions behind it. He is bringing the whole of Genesis into business thinking in tune with the present.
