One of the most revered and sacred temples among the Jains of Calcutta is the Jain Temple. Which is also known as Pareshnath Jain Temple in Calcutta. The temple is well known not only for its spiritual environment but also for its attractive beauty. Due to which fans and visitors flock here almost all the year-round. This Parshvanath Jain temple was built by Roy Badridas Bahadur in Calcutta around 18 AD. Thousands of people visit this temple throughout the year. This Pareshnath Jain temple consists of 4 different temples. The four main temples are Shitalnath Jit Mandir, Chandraprabhu Jit Mandir, Mahabir Swami Mandir, and Dadabadi and Kushal Jitmaharaja Mandir. However, the main temple was built in the memory of Sri Sitalnath Jit. Shitalnath Jit was the tenth Jain incarnation. Jain Acharya Jin Dutt is worshiped there following in the footsteps of Kushal Suri. Ganeshalal Kapurchand Jahar was built in 1899. There is a temple of Sri Chanda Prabhu Deva, which is to the south of Sri Sitala Nath Jeet Temple. The beauty inside and outside the temple easily catches the eye of the visitors. The inside of this temple is decorated with glass mosaics and decorated with blocks of various statues. In the space in front of the temple, there is a beautiful flower garden. There is an artificial fountain in the front stream. The colorful fish that swim in the clear water of the stream adds to the beauty of the place. One of the main attractions of the temple is a lamp, which has been burning with ghee ever since the temple was established.

The beauty around the whole temple brings such serenity to the mind. Which creates a very calm attitude in body and consciousness. A festival is celebrated in the temple in the month of Bhadra. Which is mainly organized in the parishioner temple. During this time the people of the Jain community observe Ahimsa and listen to their scriptures and do charity work. It is an important temple in Calcutta. Temple. The forehead involved by the diamonds of Lord Shitalnath Zia is a major attraction for the visitors.  High-quality mirrors have been used in the interior of the temple. The chandeliers hanging on the ceiling of the fifth Jain temple add a different beauty to the top. The entire floor is paved with marble. The magnificent floral designs on the walls of the temple, decorated by the famous painter Ganesh Mushkar, have multiplied the beauty of the entire building. The entrance of the temple is also in the spotlight.
