Phewa lake is the second biggest lake in Nepal. This lake offers stunning views of the mountains surrounding it. You can enjoy a beautiful boat ride in the lake. Also, there are plenty of activity choices such as fishing, kayaking, swimming, and sailing. This place is a tourist hub. Davis fall is another stunning tourist attraction. This fall is named after a tourist Davi after she drowned in here. This is 2 kilometers away from the airport. The source of this fall is the flowing water of Phewa lake. Tourists come to explore this mysterious and interesting place for its beauty and history. Gupteshwar Mahadev cave is another popular place closer to Davis falls. This cave is adventurous for its curve structure which looks like the body of a Shiv statue. The World Peace Pagoda is one of the most coveted sights in Pokhara. Located on top of the Ananda hill at the south of Phewa Lake, this white structure radiates magnificence. You can see the white pagoda atop the hill from Phewa Lake. The dome structure is the symbol of peace and has four gilt images of Lord Buddha facing the four cardinal directions. From the Peace Pagoda, you can also get an all-encompassing view of Pokhara and the Phewa Lake. Sarngkot is popular for its mesmerizing panoramic views of the Annapurna and the Dhaulagiri ranges, Pokhara Valley, and the Phewa Lake. Situated at an altitude of 1592 meters on the north of Phewa Lake, you can enjoy the panoramic views of the mountain ranges from the Sarangkot watchtower.


Bungee jumping is one of Pokhara’s most insane sports. It has a 70m vertical drop and a 3-second free fall amidst the valley of Pokhara which makes it thrilling. Also, the tallest, longest and steepest zipline in the world is in Pokhara. Pokhara is very popular for mountain biking. You can easily get cycles pretty much everywhere at affordable prices. How to go:

The railway system in Nepal is not so good. As a result, the main medium of communication here is the road. There is bus service from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Road communication from the city to other parts of the country is also active. The city is connected by air from Pokhara Airport. From here it operates to Kathmandu, Delhi and Lucknow.
