To quench the thirst of every traveler all around the year Kashmir sets itself in a different tone according to seasons of winter, summer, autumn, and spring. Kashmir has a variety of beauty to offer from lakes, snow-capped mountains, cloud reaching hills to glacier-fed rivers. Kashmir is also covered with wild untouched terrain. Also, there are fields of saffron and orchards of apples awaiting their full bloom. They have a variety of flowers that are the most precious gift of nature. The Kashmiri tulips are world-famous and unique. Shalimar Bagh is an expression of love from Mughal emperor Jehangir for his wife Nur Jahan. It has an Islamic layout much like Persian gardens. You should visit this exquisite garden and see the various ranges of flowers if you adore pretty flowers. Wular Lake is situated in the Bandipore district of Jammu and Kashmir. This is the biggest freshwater lake in India. Indira Gandhi memorial tulip garden is spread over a location of about 12 hectares in Srinagar. This ‘largest Tulip garden of Asia’ has more the 70 types of trees. Nishat Bagh, which appropriately indicates “Garden of Joy”, is among the most gorgeous locations to see the sundown. It lies on the banks of Dal Lake in Srinagar. Dal Lake is the “Jewel in the crown of Kashmir”. You can lease a houseboat to stay in and enjoy the beauty. Sonmarg is one of the major tourist spots of Srinagar. Famous for Thajiwas Glacier, this place has a mesmerizing view to offer. You can ride the Glacier by taxi or pony. Another must-visit place is Pari Mahal, which means “palace of the fairies” in the local language. It is a multi-terraced garden built at an elevation that has an enriched historical background. It used to be served as a monastery for Buddhist and then was the learning Institution of Dara, son of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.  


Gulmarg is another point of tourist attraction of this Valley. Apart from being the home of ski resorts, it is the place where you can enjoy riding the highest cable car in the world. Gandola whisking up to 13000 feet of Mount Apharwat will undoubtedly soothe your soul with a lifetime experience. Pahalgam is a heaven for adventure lovers and trekkers. Snow-capped mountains and crystal-clear water of river Lidder create a mesmerizing view. This is the point of departure for the sacred pilgrimage of Amarnath Yatra. Kheer Bhawani Temple, Hazratbal Shrine, Jamia Masjid, Nigeen Lake, Shankaracharya temple can also be included to visit in Pahalgam. Kashmir has very intriguing cuisine that keeps your taste buds wanting more. From Kashmiri Wazwan to Kashmiri kebabs with their infamous naan, rista curry, Kashmiri pulao, and their famous mutton roganjosh are a few dishes every outsider has to try to understand their spices culture and food habit.

You can reach Kashmir from any part of India especially you can directly fly to Srinagar and then take a taxi to reach Kashmir and fix the rate bargaining with the drivers. Tell them the places you want to cover during your stay and plan the trip accordingly.
